Book Two is done

Well folks, the first draft of book two is done, and the preliminary feedback from a Beta reader is pretty positive. I am working with a new promotions agent, and our first meeting was really fun. She believes I should have 4 to 8 Beta readers, so I could use one or two more if anyone out there is interested in that daunting task.

I had a lot of fun writing book two, because I got to explore some very challenging themes in this story. Alcoholism and divorce to name a couple of them. Many families endure the stress of one or both of this life stressors, so I really dug into them from what I have come to know about them in my own life.

Next steps are figuring out book covers and of course, my fav, editing (YIKES). I am so excited to get this book moving along the publishing pathways.
